Good morning to you and happy Friday!

Finally, the day has come - due to Monday being a bank holiday, I will now have three WHOLE days off!! Oh, the joy :) I really do hope we get some sunshine, as I have very optimistically planned to spend lots of time in the park.. I'm thinking iPod, books, ice cream.. Bring it on!

Just came across this clutch, btw, doesn't it just scream of summer?! Looove it! Perfect for the all-white trend paired with a matching scarf or jewellery :)

Bikini love

I obviously don't need a bikini - living in England and all, but who knows, I might just venture abroad for some sunshine at some point, and at that stage, I want THIS to be in my suitcase..

I love that it's so girly and different and bet the colour would look beautiful against sun-kissed skin! However, it might not be the best for sunbathing - just imagine the tan lines :p

Bargain Tuesday: Spring in the office

Good morning!

Despite being very tired, I am in a surprisingly good mood today. I say this as I went to a viewing yesterday - after work, and when I got there they showed me two flats - none of which was the one I went for, as that one was already taken.. Safe to say, neither was to my liking or needs.. Infuriating!

Anyways, the sun is shining and I figured it would be a perfect day to have a spring theme for the bargains this Tuesday:

DIY Ballerinas with ankle strap

Due to my recent obsession with Pinterest, I am absolutely addicted to DIY ideas, and when I saw these ballerinas in Zara a while back, I was sure I could make something similar...

The good thing with these, is that you can change the strap to fit your outfit.. Genius and cost effective! Can't say fairer than that, now can we?!

All you need is a pair of ballerinas, some kind of ribbon and whatever material you chose for your ankle strap.. You could use a number of things; fabric, chains, bracelets, braided ribbons etc.. As the bf is away for a mere two weeks now, I think I'll get my artistic groove on this weekend!

The longest week ever.. And a floral maxi

This has to be the longest week ever!

I was ready to give up on Tuesday, so you can imagine how I feel today.. Aaaah one more sleep and it's finally Friday!!! The only thing cheering me up right now is the thought of going home next week for my beautiful niece's naming ceremony.. Baby time! Yay, being an auntie is the best thing ever - you can get all your cuddles and giggles in and then hand them back when they start crying :)

Unfortunately, that's a whole week away, and meanwhile I'm stuck in gloomy, grey England...

Surely spring should have been on its way by now?!

I want to be wearing dresses and skirts and t-shirts and whatnot..

At the moment, I am loving this pleated maxi from Matalan of all places.. Perfect allrounder as it can easily be dressed both up and down.. Officially on my wish list for summer..

Floral clutch

Can you believe that the sun is actually warming me up today?! Well, on this side of the window that is.. It certainly looks beautiful and of course I am daydreaming of open shoes and other signs of spring..

As such, I thought this clutch would fit perfect in today's post!

I think you have to think this one through, though, as you can't just throw on anything white and expect it to work.. My favourite is definitely the lady with the tulle skirt - she's nailed it :)

A few more bargains...

Oh happy days!!

Not only am I off work for the next 4 days - I've finally found shoes for the wedding on Sunday.. Success!!!

And even better, they were so cheap that I treated myself to another pair of shoes and two pairs of earrings - all of which was on sale... I think that's fair, right?

After all, I should have been back in Norway enjoying a traditional Easter celebration in our family cabin...

Safe to say I needed some cheering up...

Freaky Friday

Ok, seriously - what is going on with this weather?!

We've had a bit of snow lately, but nothing to write home about - and it hasn't really stuck, so it doesn't count.. This morning, however, I woke up to this..

And an hour later, it looked like this..

God knows what it looks like now.. People are yet again speaking about blizzards and the "terrible" weather and it's safe to say there will be absolute chaos everywhere the snow hits! No snow at the office, though so I guess I'll live to see a few more hours :) Happy days!
