5 seconds of summer

Very proud of myself today - one workout done at home, then I headed out for a walk that turned out to be WAY longer than expected - just shy of two hours!

I wasn't expecting much weather wise, as it looked fairly gloomy from the office - turns out it was scorchio!! Very glad I chose to wear a t-shirt!!

I didn't take any pictures today, so here are a few from last night:

I do feel very lucky to have such a lovely park just around the corner!

Project "going to the park"

I wish I could say good morning, but unfortunately, I've spent most of the day in bed!

How annoying - but I am not well, so I guess I'll have to forgive myself.

To make up for it, I am now going to stroll over to the park and enjoy some time in the sun..

That should cheer me up, right?!

I always forget something, though - God how I want a garden!!!

Sweet Simplicity

Good morning to you and happy Friday!

Finally, the day has come - due to Monday being a bank holiday, I will now have three WHOLE days off!! Oh, the joy :) I really do hope we get some sunshine, as I have very optimistically planned to spend lots of time in the park.. I'm thinking iPod, books, ice cream.. Bring it on!

Just came across this clutch, btw, doesn't it just scream of summer?! Looove it! Perfect for the all-white trend paired with a matching scarf or jewellery :)

Bikini love

I obviously don't need a bikini - living in England and all, but who knows, I might just venture abroad for some sunshine at some point, and at that stage, I want THIS to be in my suitcase..

I love that it's so girly and different and bet the colour would look beautiful against sun-kissed skin! However, it might not be the best for sunbathing - just imagine the tan lines :p

The longest week ever.. And a floral maxi

This has to be the longest week ever!

I was ready to give up on Tuesday, so you can imagine how I feel today.. Aaaah one more sleep and it's finally Friday!!! The only thing cheering me up right now is the thought of going home next week for my beautiful niece's naming ceremony.. Baby time! Yay, being an auntie is the best thing ever - you can get all your cuddles and giggles in and then hand them back when they start crying :)

Unfortunately, that's a whole week away, and meanwhile I'm stuck in gloomy, grey England...

Surely spring should have been on its way by now?!

I want to be wearing dresses and skirts and t-shirts and whatnot..

At the moment, I am loving this pleated maxi from Matalan of all places.. Perfect allrounder as it can easily be dressed both up and down.. Officially on my wish list for summer..

Bitter much?!

Good morning!

How are we this Tuesday?

Just popping in to say hi really, as my brain is not working yet. Getting up at 5am every morning is just too early! Yesterday, I got home a lot earlier than usual and celebrated with a little nap - because that's how you celebrate when you're a senior citizen (mentally).  Actually, I slept all afternoon and didn't get a chance to do any of the things I was supposed to.. Oh well, I woke up just in time for X Factor and Hells Kitchen :)

For those of you who says it is still summer...

I beg to differ! Summer never came to England this year, and I'm actually quite bitter. How unfair!
