Happy Monday

Good morning all, and happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Mine was very relaxed - just what the doctor ordered..

Now I'm counting down the days again, as I've taken Friday off to go on a little adventure with the bf.. Yay!

Went for a little walk around Sefton Park on Saturday and the colours were amazing - the lighting was a bit off though, but you get the gist... Autumn can be really lovely!

Friday night treat

Hi all!

How was your Friday?

Despite the very best intentions, I had little faith that I would actually get anything done after work today.. BUT - I've picked out a dress to wear for my birthday - didn't even have to buy anything new.. I've done the washing and cleaned the flat.. And I've worked out! Go me..

After a quick shower, I set the mood with lots of candles and treated myself to a lovely banana smoothie! (My flat is so cold, I'm hoping the candles will warm me up a bit...)

Now I'm all snuggled up on the couch getting ready to watch an episode of Losing it with Jillian Michaels.. Gotta love her!

Tribal fashion

How are we getting on this Friday?

Some Lemsip, a cup of coffee and some tablets later and I'm feeling a bit better! A quick look at my stats also perked me up - more than 2000 hits in the first few weeks! Happy times.. 

Now it's only one more sleep and I'm off to Scotland.. I can't wait to see the highlands in all it's autumn glory! To go with the coulours outside, I've had a look at tribal prints today.. Loving the nail wraps!

And the winner is...

There's no doubt that burgundy is THE colour this season.. It's everywhere, and everyone is blogging about it.. Although it has never been a favourite of mine, I've finally come to accept it and might even buy into the trend.. Literally..  I do love the jacket!!

Bitter much?!

Good morning!

How are we this Tuesday?

Just popping in to say hi really, as my brain is not working yet. Getting up at 5am every morning is just too early! Yesterday, I got home a lot earlier than usual and celebrated with a little nap - because that's how you celebrate when you're a senior citizen (mentally).  Actually, I slept all afternoon and didn't get a chance to do any of the things I was supposed to.. Oh well, I woke up just in time for X Factor and Hells Kitchen :)

For those of you who says it is still summer...

I beg to differ! Summer never came to England this year, and I'm actually quite bitter. How unfair!
