More gift ideas

It's always good with some brainstorming when it comes to gift ideas, so I thought I would share five more tips with you :)

1. Perfume - just make sure you do your research and get one that your friend actually likes! There's nothing worse than getting perfume that makes you smell like an old lady or just stink...

2. A refill automiser... I want one!

3. Scarves - who can ever have enough?!

4. A watch - I quite like this one from Asos.. As it says "once upon a time", you could give it along with a framed picture  - to remind someone of a special/funny memory you've shared...

5. Electric lash curler - seriously, it IS the best invention since sliced bread! It makes all the difference.. I have one from ModelCo, but I'm sure any will do..

How's your day going so far?

As I am currently at war with my own body, I've decided to drop the workout for a relaxing evening on the couch.. Mud mask, candles and a movie!

Blue jeans. White Shirt

I was listening to Lana Del Rey on the train this morning and was inspired by her 'Blue Jeans'.

Here's a modern twist on an old classic.. Love it!

Here's how I'd style it; Tuck the shirt in halfways/on one side - as per the mega trend this season, and keep the accessories simple.. If you're cold - throw on a black cardi or dress is up with a blazer..  Relaxed, comfortable - perfect!

Hope you're all having a good day so far.. I only just got home and crashed on the sofa all snuggled up under a blanket..

From Tribal to Tweed

Finally home after a long day at the office.. Well, it centainly felt long!

As I didn't have anything to do at work, I started my hunt for the perfect Coco Chanel style jacket.. They seem to be everywhere this season! Technically speaking, number 2 is  more a biker jacket, however, I think it's the perfect modern twist on an old perfect classic!

Times they are a-changing

Although it has already been raining all 'summer', the weather is now taking a turn for the worse. Grim! The mornings are colder, and the wind is stronger! Time to change those blouses for something warmer.. I'm breaking out the knits..

There's no doubt that burgundy is THE colour this season.. It's everywhere, and everyone is blogging about it.. Although it has never been a favourite of mine, I've finally come to accept it and might even buy into the trend.. Literally..  I do love the jacket!!

The woman in black

When I got home yesterday, I was amazed by the lovely weather as it had been grey and gloomy all day. As such, I decided to go for a walk in the park after dinner. Having spent the whole day in the office, I thought I would take some pictures and get some excercise all in one go. Which would have been a great plan if I hadn't fallen asleep at 7pm like an old nan. Jeez!

However, a new day and new possibilities lie in front of me.. Oh yes, the glass is half full :)

As I don't have anything to do in work atm (as if I ever do), I've had a little look online for some black pieces.. I want them all!

Fall is upon us

That sounded fairly gloomy, but as we haven't  had any kind of summer, I am more than happy to browse the web for fall fashion.
