We're alive!

For those of you who thought the world would end today at 11.11 - I bet you're well happy now! And maybe you feel just a little bit silly for buying that underground bomb shelter?!

Anyways - I've had a great morning! Before work, I went to the Post Office to pick up one final gift, so now I'm all sorted.. Bring on 5pm and five days off work! Having said that, though, I do really like this job.. This was waiting for me on my desk when I got in this morning...

Have a great day everyone!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

And I could not be happier.. Unless there was snow - obviously!

I love, love, love Christmas and I'm very excited now that there's only 6 more sleeps until Christmas Eve.. Less than a week, and this year I'll be celebrating twice... Norwegian Christmas and British Christmas..
That's right - two rounds of presents and two rounds of food.. Or, who am I kidding, there will rounds and rounds of food!!

One more gift to get and then I'm done!

The finished product

So I got home after work and was beyond excited to make my Norwegian Christmas cookies - only to find that the dough was ROCK hard.. I never thought I would be able to get anywhere with it, but patience certainly is a virtue! After leaving it out  for a while and working with it for aages, I finally got my precious cookies..

Norwegian Christmas cookies in the making

Aaaah, I've had the best start to the week!

Work flew by, I've done yoga, had a bath, had a lovely dinner AND made dough for my favourite Norwegian Christmas cookies... As it's best to leave it in the fridge overnight, I guess I'll just have water or something until tomorrow.. Boring!

I'll let you know how they turn out, though...

Time to get to bed...

See you soon!

Pictures from the markets

Hi, everyone!

How's your weekend?

I've had a great time, and am definitely feeling that Christmas spirit!

We headed over to Manchester quite early yesterday and spent a few hours in and amongst the markets before we headed to the hotel for a little break.. I even had a sneaky little nap.. Luxury!

When we headed back out for some food, it was raining and quite miserable to be honest.. But it didn't take long before that was all forgotten and we had some  burgers, drinks and sweeties.. We also brought back a little picnic to the hotel with wine, cheese and crackers..

Life is good!!!

Hope you're all well!

Manchester Christmas Markets

Good morning all!

Happy it's Friday?

Bring on tomorrow, I say - a day which will be filled with food and drink from the Manchester Christmas Markets.. I've been twice before, so I know it's going to be good! This time, we're staying the night, and let's just say that I am VERY excited :)

What better way to get into the Christmas Spirit?!

Season's Greetings

I have had an extremely productive day today, but still feel like there's not enough hours in the day.. After working out, wrapping christmas gifts, doing a load of washing, making dinner and doing the dishes, I am now writing this year's Christmas cards..

I am extremely strict about Christmas as I love it with all my heart, and I strongly believe that it does not start until 1 December - and it's now so close that I can taste it.. Although, it might just be the tangerine I'm eating...

One more sleep everybody and it's Friiiiday!

Hang in there..

Oh my!

I'm not sure what kind of Christmas they celebrate at Gina Tricot, but their latest Lookbook entry made me chuckle... It is labeled "Christmas moments to remember" and it goes a little something like this

Raunchy!!
