Bikini love

I obviously don't need a bikini - living in England and all, but who knows, I might just venture abroad for some sunshine at some point, and at that stage, I want THIS to be in my suitcase..

I love that it's so girly and different and bet the colour would look beautiful against sun-kissed skin! However, it might not be the best for sunbathing - just imagine the tan lines :p

Definitely not a trend for me - simply because I'm far too clumsy to dress in white..

Believe you me - I've tried :p

I think you have to think this one through, though, as you can't just throw on anything white and expect it to work.. My favourite is definitely the lady with the tulle skirt - she's nailed it :)

I am loving how H&M has combined Hollywood glam with sustainable materials for their upcoming  exclusive partywear collection..

This pink maxi-dress for instance is made out of 100% recycled polyester and looks oh so fabulous!

 

The range will be out on the 4th of April :)

Bargain hunter

Good morning everyone!

I am very confused today and keep thinking it's Thursday.. Which is of course quite annoying as it means that it's not Friday tomorrow...

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to cheer myself up by thinking of the absolute bargain I found last night. I went into town to look for shoes for a wedding I'm going to next week.. I already have the dress and the bag, so thought it should be fairly easy to find some shoes.. Ok, so I didn't find any for that particular occasion, but I did find some black studded court shoes at Primark..

Oh yeah, and they cost me £6!!!

I am getting quite good at this bargain hunting thing..

DIY Statement Necklace

Ok, I admit it - I am absolutely addicted to Pinterest. People are just so darn clever and I keep thinking to myself - I have a masters degree, why didn't I think of that?!

There are so many things on my DIY to-do-list, but this necklace is definitely high ranking! Great gift idea too.. I desperately need to find some local craft stores!

Monochrome beauty

Hiya,

How are we all doing this Tuesday afternoon? As I've been quite absent lately, I figured it was about time to drop by.. I've been planning on showing you some pictures from London, but as I haven't even uploaded them to my computer yet, I guess we'll have to improvise :)

So I thought we could check out some monochrome little treats.. What could be easier - or more stylish to wear than black and white?! It's such a classic combination, and a huge hit this season. The best thing - it suits all ages and can easily be adpated to suit any size or shape.. Brilliant!

Graphic prints, monochrome colour palettes and optical illusions will all be massive hits in the coming months.. I cannot wait to for those warm spring days, vibrant colours and interesting prints!

On the horizon

Apparently, denim skirts will be a massive trend on the highstreet this season - skater skirts in particular.. Whilst I love the A-line shape, I don't see it working.. Very retro - and not in a good way! I  actually remember wearing these in elementry school.. How depressing that I am old enough to recognise trends from a different decade!

Safe to say I won't be jumping on this one any time soon!

As Christmas is over and there's no chance of snow I feel more than ready to welcome spring!!

Even more so after Look Magazine published pictures of the SS13 collection from Primark - you can get some real gems this season.. Oooh I can't wait!
