Snapshots from Glasgow

Back from Glasgow now, and I've had such a good weekend! It really was the perfect city break - a bit of shopping, culture and a LOT of food.. 

We we're greeted by this lovely Christmas fair.. Love Glasgow :)

I know these masks should have freeked me out, but I really liked them! If you're ever in Glasgow, you should definitely pay the Kelvingrove a visit..

Yeah, the bf thought it would be fun to block me in the bathroom whilst I was having a shower.. He was rather annoyed that I wasn't scared when I opened the door... Boys!!!

Afternoon tea! For breakfast.. That's how we roll..

We also went to the cinema to see the newest Twilight film, and I haven't made my mind up yet.. I liked bits of it, but not sure what I thought of the ending..Either way, it doesn't really matter as the bf got me a bag of popcorn and some chocolates! I was a happy bunny..

Oops I did it again

I've spent money on myself when I should have been looking for Christmas presents!

To celebrate my new job, I felt compelled to treat myself to a couple of things.. Amongst other, I found a lovely black coat at H&M - classic! Also got some new gloves, a belt and a box of chocolates for the bf.. See, I did think of someone else for a brief moment!

Not sure if today should be classed as a great success or disaster!

Anyways, I'm now back at the hotel and am getting ready for a bath.. Aaaah..

Definitely a success!!!

Weather forecast: more rain

I can't help but think that the British weather forecasters have given up. Today, the BBC breakfast presenters advised that there would be heavy rain this morning. And for the evening forcast: More rain. They're running out of ways to say it..

To distract myself from the grim reality unfolding on the other side of the window, I am looking for a dress to wear for my birthday. I've been told that I have to dress nice! How rude, as if I don't always.. Anyways, it turns out to be a complete nightmare! I can't seem to find anything I like.. It's even harder as I don't know where we are going - it's all been orchestrated by the bf!

Wish I had a wedding to go to.. At least then I could find a dress!

I guess I should have a look at what's already in my wardrobe.. I'm sure I have lots of things with pricetags still on them, so maybe I don't have to go shopping after all.. Fingers crossed!
