Today I've combined a feminine skirt with an edgy, ulta-cool biker jacket. Whilst the outfit is quite girly, the leather details and studded boots brings that rocker feel to it.. Who says you can't have it all?!

Let your creative juices flow

As per usual, I have a project in mind..I've got a head filled with ideas, but never get around to actually doing anything with them.. So last night I got out my sketching book and colouring pencils - like a three year old! I might show you the result at some point.. Was loving it though - music, candles and hot chocolate.. If nothing else, I had a good night in!

Magic Mike

Hi everyone!

Late post today.. I can really start to feel the effects of not working out for a couple of weeks! Hopefully the GP can find out what's wrong with me tomorrow so I can get back to normal..

Anyways, I forgot to tell you about the film I watched on Friday.. Oh my goodness, I've never been so embarrased my whole life.. I can't even imagine what it would be like seeing it at the cinema! Here I was, expecting an innocent rom com with a bit of dancing, but I was actually blushing throughout most of the film.. Seems like male strippers, g-strings, body rolls and grinding just isn't for me!

And how akward was that scene with Matthew Mcconaughey in those TINY shorts and the yellow top??

I have to block it out! How women can go to shows like these is beyond me :p

Jealous!!

Good morning all!

Today I woke up to beautiful sunshine!

If only there was snow... This week, Facebook has been full of udates and pictures of lovely white snow.. My dad keeps sending me pictures from where he lives.. Norwegian newspapers are full of articles of where you can now go skiing..

But here.. Theres no sign of winter - we're still stuck in autumn-mode.. Boo!!

Weather Gods, if you like me at all - send me lots and lots of snow...

Rise of the wicked witch

As I am going to my first ever Halloween party tomorrow, albeit a kid's birthday party, I am getting into the festive spirit tonight..  It's not just a random kid btw, I do know her..

Anyways, after work I found this hat and broom for only £2 – what a steal!! And not a lot of effort.. Perfect!

Tadaaa - complete transformation!

Now that I've got that sorted, I'm going to make some popcorn, put my feet up and watch Magic Mike.. Surely I'm allowed a treat or two after a long, hard week?! And I'm not talking about the sweets or popcorn... *wink wink*

I've just had a look at the upcoming collection from H&M. According to the brand, it's a "new line of urban rock n roll garments with rough cuts and edgy details"..

I disapprove!

Apparently, the line will be in selected stores from Novemer 1st.

Nail wraps

Yeah, yeah I know - I'm way behind the times..

This is my very first encounter with nail wraps, and to my surprise it's really not that difficult. With a few more attempts I think I'll be able to nail it - see what I did there?! Ok, that wasn't very funny..

Anyways - here's the result..

Not perfect, but a good start..

You can find nailwraps pretty much anywhere and everywhere, but I strongly recommend eBay - cheap as chips!! You can always find Asian sellers that offer free postage too :)

Tuesday treats

Last night after work I had to go into town to look for a birthday present for my beautiful little niece.. As I ended up spending less than planned on the gift as I stumbled upon a sale, I obviously felt that I could treat myself to a little something something too..

And that's how I ended up with flowers, nail wraps and a studded wonder of a clutch bag..

Because I'm worth it!

Shakespeare's Birthplace

Hi!

How was your weekend?

I hope it was as good as mine!!As I told you the other day, I went to Stratford-upon-Avon this weekend with the bf.. We saw all five of the Shakespeare houses and also managed to squeeze in a visit to Warwick Castle..

I've quickly flicked through my pictures and thought I would share a few with you.. No blue skies - however, it didn't rain whilst we were away, so two thumbs up!!

Time to have some food and rest before it's back to work tomorrow...

Weekend getaway

After a less than fantastic week, I am now heading off for a little weekend getaway with the bf for some much needed TLC.. We've both taken the day off which is luxury in itself!

This time, we are heading off to Stratford-upon-Avon - birthplace of Shakespeare! Very excited to see  what the little market town has to offer..

Yep, she’s back in yet a campaign for H&M.. However, the look is quite different from what we saw only a few weeks back. This time it’s all about leather and luscious knits (and of course some faux fur)..

Personally, I prefer the first collection she fronted, but hey, she still looks good :)

How was your weekend? Mine was very relaxed - just what the doctor ordered..

Now I'm counting down the days again, as I've taken Friday off to go on a little adventure with the bf.. Yay!

Went for a little walk around Sefton Park on Saturday and the colours were amazing - the lighting was a bit off though, but you get the gist... Autumn can be really lovely!

Today's message

I've had such a lovely start to the day - no stress whatsoever..

Following 11 hours of sleep, I stepped into my slippers and moved from my bed to the couch.. Aaah.. Can you believe I stuck to my guns and resisted the urge to have a glass of wine with the meal last night?! One glass would easily have turned into a bottle or two, though, so I'm glad I just had water..

I've now had breakfast and watched all kinds of crap telly, so I think it's about time for some yoga!

Loving this Saturday :) 

Did I mention that the sun is even shining today?

Morning all!

Are we all happy it's Friday?! I sure am, as I've overslept every single day this week and could definitely do with some rest... Tonight, however, I am going out with the girls and am looking forward to a lovely meal and some good laughs.. No wine, though, because of my stupid tablets.. Oh, well, I'll just compensate with eating even more tapas - could be worse!!!
